I love this dress! It is a typical evening house dress from I think, the late 1960s early 1970s. It has a cotton jersey sleeveless top with 3 covered buttons and a collar, with a green cotton jersey belt above a sumptuous lined skirt made of heavy gold Lurex material with horizontal lines of emerald green wool knitted into it at intervals of about a centimetre.The waistline is raised to the front and very lightly gathered, to give a greater impression of height
The dress is fully lined and has metal side zip to facilitate getting in and out of it along with an internal belt to keep the skirt at waist height. The dress has no label so I suspect it was made to order.

Sold in excellent vintage condition. Please remember that this piece is 60 year old and has been preloved, there are no noticeable imperfections to describe except to say it is vintage!
