Created in 1994, this 18K gold, ruby, emerald, sapphire and diamond bangle bracelet is a jewel by Cartier called the Byzantine collection. It is designed as a hinged bangle, its top set with an applied design centering a circular-cut ruby, six pear-shaped sapphires, and two square-cut emeralds, among round brilliant-cut diamonds. Heavy and soft, this sparkling and colourful bangle references the long homage that the firm made to the arts of India.
