1940s Carmen Miranda Style Fishtail Dress

What a joyful thing this dress is! Vibrant and fun, this dress was made in Honolulu in the 1940s. It is made of a royal blue cotton with splashes of brightly coloured floral details.

The dress has a boat neck with a ruffle accent around the bodice line and a double ruffle on the arms which act as little cap sleeves. The dress is fitted around the waistline and hips; it's made for someone with curves. The bottom of the dress has a ruffle and a spectacular fishtail train at the back which is equipped with loop to go around your wrist for ease of wear. It has a zip at the back.

It is truly unique!
