This wonderful dress from the 1920s is made from black silk crepe which forms a moulded sheaf over the body until just above the knees where it widens into an asymmetric double layer of ruffed flounce. Featuring tropical floral silk in yellows, blues and reds. This silk is also used to accent the shoulder straps. These straps are accented with inverted crystal diamante hearts. The neckline is low and scooped. It has a zip on the side and the material is cut in such a way to give an accentuation of a feminine silhouette. The back is cut low to mid back.
